HOW TO DO IT Crumble the yeast in a bowl. Melt the butter, then pour in the milk. Warm everything lukewarm. Pour the liquid into the yeast while stirring until the yeast has dissolved.

Add salt, sugar and half an egg. Gradually work in the flour. The dough should still be relatively runny. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.

For the crumble, melt the butter, then let it cool down. Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and almonds in a bowl. Add the butter and stir until the crumble forms.

Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead and beat vigorously. If necessary, add a little more flour.

Grease a baking sheet. Place the dough on top and flatten it with your hands into a rectangle about 30×40 cm. Spread a thin layer of jam on the dough, then sprinkle with the crumble. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
